Hi, I’m Brian – I’m the president of Manage Comics. I was a comics retailer during the 90’s boom, and I ran my own online shop for half a decade, and I’ve been running Manage Comics since 2015, so I understand the space like few other people.

I’ve been working in comics since 1989!

I got my start in London Ontario working at Bid Time Return in 1989 before helping open Heroes Cards and Comics in 1991. Throughout college I sold comics at the occasional comic show, and kept my toe in the water.  In 2005 I co-founded All New Comics, Canada’s largest subscription based comic shop, where the we built our version of what an online subscription for comics would look like. I sold my shares in the company to my partner Peter in 2011, but stuck around to do marketing with him, and continue supporting the site from a technical perspective.

In 2015 I started Manage Comics, and in 2021 we pivoted from a standalone solution, to an app within Shopify, creating the first dedicated comics retail application for Shopify stores!
