The comics retail world was rocked this week with the sudden announcement that both ComicSuite and Pullbox are being shut down. For stores using RMH (Retail Management Hero), this news created uncertainty—but we’re here to help.

Manage Comics and MCS Multi Computer Solutions have been quietly working together for months to build a modern, stable, web-based subscription management solution that integrates directly with RMH. While we expected more time, we’re accelerating our rollout to help affected retailers as quickly as possible.

In this post, we’ll outline what this means for you, what’s coming next, and how to get help with your RMH system and subscription management.

Manage Comics and MCS Step Up to Support Comic Retailers Amid Industry Disruption

London, Ontario — July 2, 2025 — In light of the sudden announcement ending support for ComicSuite and Pullbox, Manage Comics and MCS Multi Computer Solutions are proud to announce a partnership aimed at providing a modern, stable, and retailer-focused replacement for comic shops using RMH (Retail Management Hero) systems.

For months, Manage Comics and MCS have been quietly collaborating on a solution tailored to the unique needs of comic shops. This new integration will allow retailers to maintain—and improve upon—the subscription, order management, and customer engagement tools they’ve relied on for years.

“We had anticipated at least another 30 days before changes took effect,” said Brian Garside, founder of Manage Comics. “Our focus is to get shops up and running with a modern, web-based subscription management platform quickly—and then continue improving it based on retailer feedback and needs.”

What Retailers Can Expect:

  • Seamless Data Import: Tools to upload current subscription data into Manage Comics.
  • FOC and Weekly Pull Support: Manage Comics will provide full support for weekly orders and Final Order Cutoff submissions.
  • RMH Integration: MCS is already providing RMH support for many comic shops and will ensure the new system integrates smoothly.
  • No Manage Comics Fees During Transition: Manage Comics will not charge subscription fees for the first 30 days as we help retailers get set up and operational.

Shawn Collins from MCS added:

“All comic shops that purchased RMH through Diamond have now been reassigned to MCS. We’ve already been helping stores repair and maintain their systems, and now—with Manage Comics—we’re offering a true path forward for subscription management.”

“Manage Comics makes our jobs as comic book retailers easier. Full stop. It doesn’t force you to change the way you do business—instead, it exists as an additional tool for automation and growth. Brian and his team are responsive, courteous, and dedicated to the platform and the direct market. Highly recommended.”
