There is no doubt that 2020 was a challenging one for the world at large, but for comic shops in particular. Fortunately there are a lot of indications that 20211 will be better, and we’re hopeful that some of the lessons we’ve learned and experiences we’ve had this year will help create stronger businesses in the future.

We have spent a lot of time this year working with stores to make sure they were able to operate in the current “new normal” that we’ve seen.  In the last year there have been a decade worth of changes as stores embrace online and “hybrid” business models, and we helped stores get tehre.

In 2021 we will be doubling down on Manage Comics and making it an even better solution than ever before.

A short, but by no means comprehensive list of changes will include:

  • Constantly improving our data sources
  • Product uploads for Shopify and WooCommerce
  • Deeper integration with Shopify
  • A new community initiative – the Manage Comics retailer community
  • More blog posts, focusing on getting new customers
  • A Shopify specific version of Manage Comics
  • Improvements to FOC ordering, Intital ordering
  • More marketing help in the app
  • And so much more.

For those of you who have made Manage Comics your choice, thanks for trusting us as your Subscription Management solution.

As always, we will continue to rely on our Manage Comics stores to help us understand what they need, and how we can best serve them. We’re currently building a Manage Comics community to allow store owners to better connect with each other and help each other (something we’ve found incredibly helpful as we navigate the Shopify waters).

We’ll be sending out a survey in the new year to see what we can do to improve Manage Comics, and we’ll publicize our road map of changes like we always do.

As 2020 comes to a close, we hope you and yours have a safe and happy holiday and that 2021 is a prosperous one for you.

Brian, Craig, Taras, and Vince
The team at Manage Comics.
